The traveller Holiday gift guide: 2015

If you or a special someone is a travel enthusiasm and you have absolutely no gift idea on this holiday season, then read this guide! From Christmas stoking to high-end products, you will have plenty of choices to choose from. So here are ten gifts ideas for travellers.
P.S. Most of the products that are available worldwide.

1. Solar-powered charger and light: When travelling you often forget, can't or don't have the time to charge your phone. With this charger, you or your special someone will get to sock in the sun AND charge a phone. The light is a bonus and quite useful.

2. Anti-theftbag: For the travellers that just can't tolerate a fanny pack, there is a solution to your problem: The anti-theft bag. They can be quite expensive, but so are your belongings.

3. Shower kit: This is one of the most common gift for travellers for a reason; we need it. All we have to do after receiving that gift is pour our products in it and hop in the plane, easy. This gift will make any type of traveller happy, I can assure you.

4. Make-up bag: Is your special someone a lady friend? There are some chances she wears make-up on a daily or occasional base? How about a make-up bag? There is plenty on the market for every type of woman. I recommend going for a waterproof one, so that if there is any king of incident while travelling, it will be easy to wash off.

5. Luggage: Here is the thing with luggage, you really, really, really have to know the person you are giving this to. It can be quite tricky as a gift. Is he a backpacker? Business traveller? Messy packer? Or organizer freak? If you really don't know, then go for a classic black, rigid, four-wheeled carry-on luggage, believe me, they will use it.

6. Watch: While travelling, we often forget to watch the time, because we are too busy enjoying ourselves, which is a good thing. That is the reason why you should give your special someone a watch for them not to forget to call home when they are on the other hemisphere. We all have to give news at some point when travelling, so I recommend buying a watch that shows the time of two places on earth. That way, they won't call you at 2am in the morning.

7. International plug adapter package: That one is a classic and there is a reason why. There is nothing more frustrating than arriving at a destination and realising that you can't charge your camera. Really. It happened to me once. Now I always travel with my international kit and can take beautiful pictures for you to see. You can either buy a serie of adapters like I did or buy an all-in-one adapter, which I don't necessary recommend since they always break and are sometimes quite hard to use.

8. Go Pro: If you are looking for an expensive gift, how about a go pro? Any world traveller knows about this type of camera and its utility. You will never encounter someone who isn't happy to receive a camera as a gift. Price range is from 129,99 to 499,99 US.

9. Headphones: All travellers need headphones at a certain point of their travels. Try finding one that is noise cancelling, comfortable and adjustable, for those long flights.

10. USB Powerbank: This gift is, without a doubt, a lifesaver. The USB Powerbank charges your belongings without needing a plug. So you can work on those travel pictures from the plane or in that secluded national park.
